Magenta House is excited to welcome New York-based chef and artist Phoebe Tran of Bé Bếp on Thursday 27 March for an intimate supperclub inspired by her recent travels through Vietnam.
From the highlands to the sea, Phoebe’s menu is a love letter to Vietnam’s diverse culinary traditions. Throughout the evening, she’ll share personal stories from her journey—learning about indigenous foodways, connecting to the land, and reflecting on the memories and meaning behind each dish.

Bé Bếp celebrates the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine. Drawing from traditional cooking methods and family recipes, chef and founder Phoebe Tran creates dishes that aim to capture the flavours of her childhood and travels across Vietnam. Her distinct approach to Vietnamese food centers seasonality and community, and she carries this ethos through all of Bé Bếp’s popups and events. Phoebe’s background as a farmer, folk herbalist, and chef informs the ways in which her food honours the seasonality, medicinal properties, and flavour of her ingredients combined.
